Hi,

My wife forgot to mention that she had bust the cable to open the bonet, so that when i came to check fluids i found that i couldnt.

Phoned local dealer and to my suprise they want ove £100 to fix it. I have the part does anyone know how to open the bonet.

you'll be able to get to the catch from underneath the car ( usually ). You may have to remove the splash guards at the bottom of the bumpers though.

You can also trip the mechanism from the front of the car too ( usually ), but you'll need to fashion a tool for the job -the only real way of doing this is to use another identical car with the bonnet open and figure out how to do it.

any idea at what end of the cable its snapped. If its in the car under the dash you may be able to get to the inner and pull the wire with a set of pliers
