40k Service!

Hi Fella's

Just booked me car in for the 4 year service at toyota and got quoted £460!!! :o

I know its a full service but it seems a bit expensive to me?

Anyone hear had it done? What did it cost? and most importantly what did they do to warrent charging £460?

:o I would tell them where to go at that price, Shocking My 40,000 service i had done Friday was only £168.00.

Mine is due in two weeks time and I was quoted about £150-160. Another suggestion to bring the price down is to supply your own oil. Franchised dealers charge up to £70 only for the oil. At that price you can buy enough oil for almost two services, this one and the next.....

Forgot to mention, that price included re-gassing the air con @ £45!!

I remember they said somthing about a fuel and engine flush or somthing?

Dont know if that means anything or there just tryin it on?

After seeing some of the prices you guys got it done for i am gettin a bit worried :(

Ring several local dealers and get quotes, its the easiest way.
