Can I Fit Larger Brake Discs On Gen6 1.8sr?

Hi All,

My front brake discs need replacing on my 1998 Celica SR (same spec as ST with a few cosmetic additions I beleive). I was wondering if it is possible to fit larger brake discs to increase stopping power?

Is this possible and am I right in saying that larger discs are going to stop better? I would have thought so.

Might wanna check this BUT GT4 discs/calipers might fit... just a guess though.
