Alright, So I'm not a superb artist but atleast I tried! 2 Weeks after ordering them they finnaly turn up. They've come equipped with 215/35/ZR18 Toyo Proxes T1-S's

I'm still wondering whether it's worth getting the TTE Springs? Will it lower Facelift by 15MM or 30MM? :/

they drop the original 30mm - if the facelift uses the same shocks you'll get a 15mm drop. fensport sells them - speak to Tony. £150 delivered if i remember right?

I'm not sure TBH - I paid an Extra £125 on top of the original price for them to chance 'Premium Performance' to the proxes. I think the sell them for £100ish each with free delivery (18's Ofc, not sure about others).

The pics seem clear to me! Maybe it is 'cos they're shiny or your laptop, I'unno! :D

Righto. I'll have a check - Do you think a 15mm drop is enough on that then? Also - If I get a Spring compressor are the reasonbly easy to fit yourself?

the first job i ever did on a car was change the suspension - havent looked back since and i've saved myself grands over the years. you'll never get the skills until you do it yourself - and you feel really chuffed once you've done it.

LOL! Thank god I aint the only one who does that.

Had a little drive around before and laughed when a couple of drunk lads pointed at the car and then fell off the curb, oh so funny...

i fitted a set of 225 35 18's a few weeks back on my compressor .. i would imagine ur car would look pretty much the same if u were to get tte springs.. u can check out the pics if u want

clicky

in regards to the handlinga nd speed it is pretty much the same.. but then again i did get light alloys

im looking to get some coilovers for myself soon just for better handling and altho springs are a quick fix u might find urself remplacing ur dampers quite often if ur planning to keep the car for a while.

as for the seat.. nearly had the chance race 2 cupra R fr'S yesterday on a "track" but the jumped the lights...SLY!

Good looking rims, but it really needs lowering.

If i remember right the facelift is 15-20mm lower than pre-facelift.

Coilovers would be a right choice :)

D2, KW var2 ?

Haha - Yup, I've been avoiding them by miles, so has my GF - We're trying our hardest not to be the first to kurb or dent them in any way!

I'm probably just going to use Eibach springs, dont want to lose ALL of my comfort! and they're cheaper! :P

looks mean, has it affected road holding at all? or does it grip better.

Correct me if i'm wro here soembody, but IMO it grips better.

As far as I'm aware thicker tyres grip better. As well as using more fuel! :P Obviously I'm feeling rhe bumps more but I got used to that in my Pug 206 with 17's, Low pros & lowered 40/60mm. :D
