Fog Lights: Hid Conversion

just got my tte bumper yesterday and it now in the body and should be on this weekend..

im thinking of doin a HID conversion as i dont really want yellow fog lights as i already have HID on my headlights..

does any one know wat bulbs the tte fog lights take?

i think its ilegal to hav HID on the fogs over here isnt it? correct me if im wrong though. In Hong Kong every1 has HID fogs, looks REALLY good

im pretty sure most hids are illegal.. but it has to be done.. i can imgaine wat it looks like already

White lights with a tint of blue are rated at 6000k. Purple lights are 8000k.

HID's require a self levelling system and washers IIRC to be legal. You aren't going to satisfy either of those conditions but tbh I don't think anyone is actually going to do you for it.

cant see the point - the t sport fog lights are too big anyway to use all the time unless you like blinding people. the bizzies are getting very keen on issueing tickets for misuse of foglights after increasing complaints from motorists. i got one in Nottingham - just drove down the road into Notts past the power station and it was foggy - forgot to turn me light off when it cleared - got to town and got tugged. £30 :( might have been cos it was a nice car with a young fella going into Stanz wearing a hoodie - nothing like stereotyping!

the reason y im thinking of doin it is

firstly cos i can get the conversion kit cheap

secondly it looks good

and the main reason being that i like to be different

and tbh i rarely use my fogs aswell..lol!
