• Seatbelt beep set off

Isnt this standard? My Aygo has it as standard.

I find it quite annoying as none of my previous cars had it! lol, but its a good feature as I had got into the bad habit of putting my belt on half way down the road.

I'm intrigued by these two, got any details on how you went about doing that? Also, on my 107 the light only comes on when you open the driver door. Is this the case with the Aygo, or does it light up with the passanger door too?

Posted

It's the same on the Aygo. You can get a switch from your dealer for the passenger door. Simple mod to wire it in and worth uprating the interior light bulb and adding a delay at the same time. http://my107.blogspot.com/ has the details.

Legend! Pimp my blog ;o) But thanks for the tip, I'll take a look at that. How much was the switch?

Yes I am  but you are right it does what is supposed to I guess! I would have rather them invest the money tho into a seat belt height adjuster as even with seat belt clunk-clicked in ;) I still have to put the top strap under my arm, otherwise I cant see

And as for the unit lights in boot and glove box, not sure if Refz probably did something more fancy but I just put an osram light in (long last Battery life simple touch button can get them for about a fiver!.

From memory switch was about £9.00 from local Peugeot dealer (tend to be a bit cheaper than Mr T )

Hi Rich,

Yes I have spent many hours on your blog :) Excellent site! Is it easy to wire the passenger door switch to the driver door switch? I would consider installing one but I am not confident enought ripping up carpets and pulling off pillars.

Thanks,

Jeff

Installing the extra switch involves removing the sticker and !Removed! in one (special) bolt.

The wiring is realy easy, I decided to do it slightly different and wired straight into the light,

with the addition of a diode, so the light-beep will only sound on the driversside door...

I also thought running the wire through the sill, up the kickpanel, behind the dash, behind the

pillar-trim and over the headliner was easier than running it underneath the carpets, but that's personal...

Not my website ,it's Guidom's, but it's so useful i thought i'd quote it. Sorry for any confusion.

where did you buy the modules for the one touch windows?

Posted

I got mine through REFZ and I know he got thes from a local breaker...

Posted

As Jan said, I got them from a local car junkyard.

If you are interested, I can have a look for some more modules.

Somebody asked for a picture of my custom made rubber rear spoiler.
