Ive had some tree stuff/ bird crap fall onto the roof. God knows what it was its made a nasty mark that wont shift. Got so frustrated that hit the roof in temper and now theres a small dent. :( Guess I need anger management.

A bad day for Aygo

Doesn't matter if they did leave a note, it usually only says "Sorry" anyway. Gits, makes you wonder how they manage to drive to the car park let alone use a shopping trolley. Hope you manage to get it fixed. I have a mark on the back passenger wing under the fuel flap that some b**d left behind, but I'm learning to live with it at the moment.

yea its just so frustrating. The car is kept in top condition all the time no scratches or swirls and now theres a big crease in the back quarter :(

I even got the side bumpers so this type of thing wouldn't happen too!!!

Sorry to hear that.

You could try these guys.......................they took some bad dents out of my previous Yaris bonnet which a bodyshop had quoted over £350 to do.......................Cost about £70

Local operators ............nationally trained and very good

Have a go yourself. All dent devils will do (I've used them in the past for a tricky repair) is remove the trim in the boot and knock it back out. You can do the same. Dent devils use shaped pieces of perspex which look like large wax crayons, they place these behind the dent and tap gently with a small pin hammer. A shaped piece of timber would do the same job.

We have a small dent on the driver's door - probably a trolley hit. When I can be bothered I'll be taking the door trim off and knocking it back out.

The bonus with the Aygo is the interior isn't completely covered in trim so you can get at things easily.

Or you could add the same dent to the other side!

lol at above!

If the paint isn't cracked which it doesn't look like in that picture it should be fine to be pushed out. If you don't fancy it yourself, there's lots of companies out there who will, try the above or chipsaway (i'm starting to sound like a chipsaway rep lol) I'm sure they do small dents too, though I'm not sure (brain's going in my old age now).

Dent Devils do not "knock" anything out................................they gently tease out the dent from the inside using lever type instruments.

I watched the dent on my previous Yaris bonnet dissapear magically and can confirm that NO HAMMERS were used at any time.

At the time my repair was carried out they operated a free quote service and if you decide not to go ahead with the repair you are not charged for the quote.

I HAVE NO CONNECTION WITH DENT DEVILS OTHER THAN BEING A VERY SATISFIED CUSTOMER!!

Red Yaris - every job is different. Your situation obviously didn't require any knocking out, but to say Dent Devils do not knock anything out is not true.

When I used them they did an element of levering, but finished the job using a pin hammer on the perspex tool. My dint was on a wheel arch so to get the crease back into shape this was necessary. A colleague used them at the same time and they also used a hammer on his Escort to reprofile a cheat line in the door.

In both cases the job was excellent, but having seen what they do if I can access the area I would have no problem having a go myself.

Hillarious.................................a hammer is often NOT the best tool to use ;)

If nothing else works...
