Am making educated guesses but:

- first one: Exhaust temp? (exhaust has probes in it, or at least mine does....)

- Second one: ill go out on a limb and say you have an NA.....and thats for the fan behind the drivers side air intake......that light comes on with the fan when i blip my immob off..

Like i said they are guesses.....but check your fans working.....(this is where i find out you have a turbo and hang my head in shame cos they dont even have those fans :D)

This light warns that there is a problem somewhere in the engine compartment cooling fan system.

If this light comes on while you are driving, slow down and take your vehicle to the nearest Toyota dealer or qualified repair shop for a repair.

NOTICE:

Do not drive over 37mph with the light on

Better get that sorted!

The other one isn't on there.

i had the same lights on. thought oh sh*t.

was sorted by disconnecting engine bay temp sensor, cleaning with a cloth and then just reconnecting it. never cam on and noticed that the intercooler fan came on now sometimes which it didnt before.

isnt the first one the CATS over heating?

yeah the first one is your cat temp sensor... you're cat is overheating... probably dead or dying.

Or ......... I have my car decatted and the light is on. Was told this would be the case tho. I could always take the dash apart and unplug the bulb for that symbol... but too much trouble.

I would seriously get your motor to a garage though.

My car was the model w/o the cat so i guess i dont have that problem, least its one less thing for me to worry about w. this car.

Both are engine overheating .. check your ECU for error codes and check you have coolant ..

Toyota confirmed this, so did my local Jap sepcialist.... along with myself doing alot of looking around

When you have no coolant .. both come on .. as the engine runs hot and so does the exhaust ..

I had both when my engine decided it was okay to run on 10% coolant, spat 90% out .. and then threw a strop at 90 on the M4 .. :ffs:
