Intermittent ('electronic') Sound When Braking Hard

Hi

I've got a twelve month old Auris (1.6 MMT T Spirit with Tech/protection & Style packs).

I've posted a good few times re. MMT issues but have now come to terms with these & am very pleased with the car.

About four months ago, I noticed that occasionally when I braked harder than usual I heard a high-pitched - but not loud - 'electronic' (as opposed to 'mechanical') sound. This was an intermittent problem and I usually forgot about it afterwards. However, I've noticed recently that it seems to be occurring more often. When it happens, no warning lights are displayed and the car's performance is completely normal.

Has anyone else experienced this issue? - I'd be grateful for any thoughts/advice.

Thanks

Phil

Phil,

This is totally normal with alot of the newer Toyotas. It is the ABS/VSC etc working thats all :)
