PLEASE CAN ANYONE ADVISE HOW TO REPLACE THE LAMPS ON THE DASH WHERE THE AIR CON / AIR DIRECTION ARE

ARE THEY INDIVIDUAL OR A BLOCK LAMP ?

DO I HAVE TO TAKE THE DASH TO PIECES OR DO THEY COME OUT INDIVIDUAL

I DONT WONT TO START TO TRY UNTIL I GET TOLD HOW

If it's the same as the GT4 then it's a block of switches. The block incorporates the temperature selector and other things. Once the block's out then I think you can get the switch buttons off the unit, though they're probably a bit brittle and easily snapped if you're not careful.

DONT SUPPOSE YOU KNOW HOW TO THE BLOCK OUT

If its like my Gen 6: You'll need to unscrew the gear nob. Then pull the gear stick surroundings up and off, they are held in by clips.

Once done you will see two screws under the climate control unit, remove them and pull the central consol away from the dash. It should be held in by 4 clips (one in each corner).

Once off you should have access to the radio and climate control unit. The climate control unit should be held in by 4 screws - unscrew them. Before reomving the climate control unit you will need to unclip the heat control cables at the back. Give me a shout if you need more specific info on removing these as they are a pain. Once done, the unit should pop out for you to tinker with.

Remeber these are instructions for a gen 6, i'm not sure how applicable they will be for your '91 model.
