Best Way To Wash The Aygo?

Won't even have it for another 6 weeks but want to be prepared

We have a pressure hose here, one of the ones that you can plug into the socket to get massive damage!!!

If I had it on a low setting and used the bit that you can put some sort of cleaning fluid into (Whatever you recommend), would that be a good enough way of cleaning the car without damaging any of the bodywork or paint??

Seeing as its gonna be my first car and costing me monnnnnnnnays, Im prob gonna want to keep it in good nik!

Those pressure washers are good for giving the car a good soaking in suds- think they call 'em foam wands? Anyways, don't use a jetwash full-til on your car though. That rock hard jet of water can be as damaging as rubbing a gritty sponge over everything.

Save any pressure hoses for the wheel arches or underbody. Stay safe and wash the bodywork with a good old bucket and sheepskin wash mit :D

only way to wash a car: Hose it down, then use the 2 bucket method with grit guards with a sheep skin and dry :D

The best way to wash ANY car is to get a crisp fiver yout of our wallet, give it to one of those immigrant car wash places ad sit there with your A/C and radio on. Soooooooooooo satisfying! :!Removed!:

Best experience I have had with washing the car was when the local fire station with the fireman and there big hoses were doing some chairty thing, I donated a fiver to watch wet uniformed men get me car nice and soapy had "Mercy" playing on the radio....

Was a good day. :D

Been back every week since but they are never there :(

Lister, if you're getting the Blue model like I have you'll be washing it more than you bargained for! OMG it's like it's never been washed after every slight shower usually after you've spent 3 hours cleaning, polishing and vacuuming it. I think you need to hire yourself one of the immigrant car wash people to wash it every day :o It's also impossible to get all the smears off it. Supaguard my *****!
