Rav4 T180 Mic Problems

I've recently bought a Rav4 T180 and am having problems with the mic. Does anyone else have a similar problem? When I call someone, they can hardly hear me, as if I'm stood outside the vehicle with a closed door and talking to them! Even when recording the voice tags to the phone book, it plays my voice back to me like a whisper. Consequently I am unable to use the bluetooth simply because no one can hear me!

The Toyota garage are looking into it, but as yet have no suggestions. I would be grateful for any body's thoughts or suggestions, as I rely heavily on my mobile whilst driving, and this is proving to be a real handicap.

Thank you, it does sound like a regular problem. Toyota are taking it in for a couple of days to try to relocate the mic; head office have given them no solutions, so its just the technical guy at the garage playing with ideas to see if he can solve it for not just me but as the solution generally.

Ive now done what was mentioned in the link you sent me and it worked! Hold the Info button in and switch the side lights on and off 4 times, this brings up a secret menu, the bluetooth check allows you to turn the send voice volume up from 0 to 5 - problems solved, thank you very much again!
