Hi everybody. I'm the owner of a 2006 Corolla AT. I'm trying to understand something more about my automatic transmission, an A246E gearbox. Does anyone know the gear ratios of this car? Do you know if it's an ECT, super ECT or ECT-i kind of transmission? It's a 4-speed, but is the overdrive the 4th or does it come after the 4th gear? I mean, when I drive it seems to me that it changes gear 4 times and this would mean it's got 5 gears, wouldn't it? Please help me understand these things.
