Hi everyone I have just bought a Toyota Avensi a T plate 1.8Se and today noticed my Battery warning light stayed on after I had started the car and continued to stay on during my journey any idea what it can be a friend told me it could be the alternator any suggestions

hi mate

get alternator tested first (I & V). once these outgoing characteristics are less then should be -- you have to check both with collector and carbon brushes.

in case the alternator is in order the check with el charging relay. all the above issues are the resullt of "too much maintenance" before :D

So get alternator checked and if thats ok then wat 2 much technical info mate lol

the test will show everything.

in case the alternator is in order then check with relay.
