Hi Just Joined Today and wondered if anybody has tha same car as me its a Corolla 1991 1.5 se limited (Auto with o/d) 4door saloon. Jap Import with climate controll and air ionizer on the parcel shelf. the question is what is the red button on the front of the gear selector as the O/d is on the selector. I am interested to hear if anybody knows what this is and any one else who has the same car. the engine is a 5A-FHE 1498 cc on an AE92 chassis i know it was imported in 1997 with 84000 miles on the clock as per 1st uk mot prior to uk registration. it has now done 126000 miles and still clean and sweet.

I could put some pictures on if only i knew how.

Dont know abut the car, but you could open an account with Photobucket and upload your photos from your hard drive.

You name the albums for different collections, and all you do is copy the image link and paste it here.

Its all free, and probably one of the best laid out photo hosting sites. Theres is advertising, and banners, and popups occasionally, but thats to be expected for a free site.

Hi ..the red button ur on about is a gear lock button.. its an over ride button for the gear stick so if u want to move the gear stick while the car is off then u jusr press the button and move the gear stick it'll move .. presto ..

and by the way is this the same one that i phoned up for today that was advertised on gumtree.. and it was sold.. cos he asked me the same question..if u are that person.. then u got my number .. i would like to strike a deal with the person..

thanks mate ..
