116 Bhp Or 126 Bhp

Hi Guys,

i have a 2005 D4D Avensis saloon and am just wondering if it is the 116 or the 126 bhp version?

is there a way of checking on the body of the car or anywhere similar to the VW that have the ps figures in the boot?

reason i ask is i got a quote from a tuner here in Ireland to fit a k&n panel filter and Tuning Box and they have two applications, the 116 and the 126 versions.

Hi kceire!

I have an 2007 D4D model Avensis with 126bhp.

The Avensis came with the new 126bhp on that model.

So from 2007 the following D4D engines are available: 126,150 and 177bhp.

The older D4D models have: 116,150 and 177bhp.

So as a conclusion, you should go for the 116bhp tuning kit.

no mate, we dont get that kinda detail on our log books over here yet!

126bhp version has a 6 speed manual gear box. The old 116bhp version has a 5 speed.
