Toyota And Subaru Combination

read the other day that while back toyota bought shares in subaru, now in the next celica there planin to put a subaru engine in mid mounted, 2 versions,

1 - GT rear wheel drive, 2.0 litre N/A engine bout 200bhp

2 - GT4 4 wheel drive 2.5 litre turbo bout 250-300bhp

if this gets built think i've found something to replace compressor in few years lol

If I recall correctly there's a post about this in the Supra forums.

People thought it was the Supra replacement but I think it's too small, something like the Celica as you mention. There's also concept pictures floating around.

Either way i think it sounds sweet. Thats the first i've heard about it. Anyone got any pictures?

Just looks like a Hyundai Coupe in a party dress to be quite honest. 2 of the finest car manufacturers in the world n thats all they can come up with?????

That's not to say it's exactly what'll be like though.

That's supposed to just be the Subaru version anyway, Maybe Toyotas will be far better. ;)

yea been looking forward to it for a while now.. and im definately lloking to upgrade my compressor to this...
