Help Needed Please

hi can anyone help i have just had a friend put another engine in my 51 plate avensis 1.8 vvti.

2 problems:

problem 1:

the camshaft oil control valve was broken on the replacement engine and it is different from the one on the old engine. does anyone know where i can get another, problem is there is 3 for this model and the part number is broken off mine.

problem 2:

since fitting the engine we cant get it to blow hot air. we have bled the system 5 times but still cant get it to blow anything else but cold air. someone told me it has to be preassurised is this right and if so how do we do this.

What're the 3 part numbers?

I suspect you also still have air locked in the coolant system

not sure what the 3 part numbers are. i will phone toyota back tomorrow to find out.

like i said we have drained it 5 times so i dont know what we can be doing wrong for it to be still air locked.
