Hi all,

Hope someone can help. Just recently purchased some lexus style tail lights for my 03 Corolla T Sport. Went 2 fit them only to find the connector cables are different. Has any body else experienced this ??

the Car connection is a straight 6 pin connection whereas the lights are two rows of 3.:angry:

Can any one suggest anything

Hiya and Welcome.

I've not fitted them myself but I know a bloke in work who has - I'll ask him tomorrow if he had simular problems and how he resolved them if so.

Hopefully someone will get back to you before then!

i know i'm gonna get flammed n this will prolly get deleted!!

but why would you buy such things???

what do you want to stand out from???? or do you feel not enough ppl point n laugh as it is????

i know i know each to their own n all that, which is fine, but lexus lights are just the biggest of no no's right up there with putting turbo stickers on ur boot!!!!!

I almost bought one CTS until i walked round the back and saw the Lexus lights

They didn't look too bad when they first came out until every single Corsa and Saxo had them!!!

Chavtastic!!

Ive decided Im going to get a bumper sticker made for the rear of my CTS...

***Dont come near my car if you dont have a T-Sport***

***Dont come near my car if you dont have 189bhp***

***Dont come near my car if you have a Back box on your 1.4 Polo***

***Dont come near my car if you have LEXUS LIGHTS***

Surely that would take the fun out of beating someone off the lights who's revving his chav mobile because he thinks you are driving an OAP car (well pre-facelift)? Never get tired of seeing chav's in the rear-view mirror as you hit LIFT!

nowt wrong with clear lights if they look OK - they look 5hite on the CTS tbh. chop the connectors of and fit they right connector in its place! Chav? isnt that what the southern middle classes call people they deem to be beneath them so have to try and put down to hide there own insecurities and shortcomings. its a scally or potter thank you.

Well said. All i wanted to know was about any fly leads or connection not aload of abuse about lexus lights. Plain and simple if u dont like them dont buy them dont need of opinions that will not affect my decision.
