Is anything else not working?

It may be on the "Dome" fuse. Fuse IDs should be located on the cover of the fuse holders. You'll also find them detailed in the Handbook.

thanks for the reply but I do not have a hand book and have not been able to get hold of one. P.S is Corina e 1990-1992 manual usable for my car ( Corina 11)

A handbook for any Toyota would be of some value - but it's best to get the right one.

If something works Toyota tend to apply it over and over to different cars so warning lights, switch gear etc isn't that different between a Corolla or an MR2 or even a Toyota derived Lexus.

Parts King may be able to get you the manual you need, or you can source one from someone who's scrapping a car of the same year. What year is yours as my Dad's Carina may be about to give up the ghost, and may not be worth repairing.

cheers for that my is an 89 on a G reg.

That's what my dad's is. I'll see if he can look up the fuse location.

As I suspected the moon roof is on a fuse with a lot of other equipment so if it's only the roof that's failed then the fuse is unlikely to be the problem. For info though it's fuse No 14 in the driver's side kick panel which is 7.5A.

Also in that area are two circuit breakers no.s 19 and 20 and 20 apparently covers the moon-roof the central locking and the electric windows. Again, that would suggest that if your windows and locking still works then the fuse isn't the problem.

I would imagine the next most likely culprit would be the motor, or possibly the mechanism, wiring or switch.
