Hi, can someone recommend a product which actually works at getting squash bugs off bonnets? Mine is covered after one trip down the motorway and car wash shampoo and water doesn't work.

Thanks,

Jeff

Am not an expert but in my experience one of the bug/tar remover mits you can get, looks like it has net over it, did the best trick at getting them off. I would say autoglym would have something specific for this tho., but I use wheelygoodstuff.co.uk

It is that time of year having local wildlife splattering the front of your car. The bug and tar remover is good and there is a version that is just like a wet wipe. Very easy to use and apply, you just wipe away.

Currently using the Autoglym Bird dropping remover wipes which are good.

But sometimes use Holts do a bug wipes Or Simoniz do bug and tar wipes with a mesh back for tougher bug.

Try this product... http://www.cleanandshiny.co.uk/index.php?a...mp;productId=81

Bugs just wash off with water after this treatment has had a minute to work.

...it does help if your car is treated with Supagard first though

Just ordered some supaguard off eBay. I will give the car a good cleaning and get all the bugs off and then stick it on! :)

Has anyone used it themselves? Does it just work like car wax? Do you have to buff it off afterwards?
