Anyone know if the post 2000 4 stud alloys from an MR2 roadster will fit on the Aygo?

just had a look in the MR2 section, and the offset says its 35-40ish so I think they would fit, not 100%, but might rub a little on full lock.. Also the tyres would have to be changed for low profile ones.

Also be aware that MR2 Roadsters come with different sized front and rear wheels,so may affect suitability for an Aygo.

NO they are not suitable, I had a customer try it and there were all sorts of problems

Offset is +45 for the OEM alloys.

Pre-2003 OEM alloys= 6"x15" front and 6.5"x15" rears +45 offset front and back.

Post-2003 OEM alloys=6"x15" front and 7"x16" rear,again both +45 offset.

One problem is that the bolts you have for the Aygo will not fit in the holes designed for normal Toyota studs and nuts as you get on the MR2.

I fitted some Yaris wheels but to do that I had to get 16 custom bolts made up. Wouldn't recommend it when there are a lot of easier alternatives eg. TTE wheels.

Also, I have 5.5in wheels whereas the MR2 has staggered 6in and 6.5in or 7in as described above. I find the 5.5s only just clear the inside front on offset 45.

Paul.
