Remote Locking Install Toyota Estima 1992 Help?

Recommended Posts

hi everyone, i have recently swapped my mitsubishi pajero for a toyota estima 2.2 diesel, and im very impressed, form my pajero i removed the remote central locking kit that i purchased for it, i thought seeing as the estima has an extra switch to lock all doors, i could connect the two wires here to work it but i can only get the locks to work one way at a time, as there are only two wires, un-lock and lock, is there a relay i could wire them in or does anybody know where to put the two wires, all info will greatfully be recieved, thankyou

There is a relay behind the dash above the glove box, press your open/close switch and you will here it click.

the estima uses a negative trigger not live so be careful.

I put one on mine, took approx 1.5 hours start to finish, being careful.
