Air Flow

Hi

I have a 2005 1.4 D4D MMt which is 44K on the clock.

Air flow meter had failed twice. And toyota garage replaced the meter under warranty. I had third fail yesterday after driving totally 280 miles in several different occasions. It generally happened in long distances(>100miles).

Has anybody had any problem like that? I just wonder if it could be other problem instead e.g cam belt or fuel problem or sth like that?

Yellow or orange color engine shape fault comes on the screen and stays there until the garage clears out. There is nothing happening actually on the car. The concern is it could be a sign of sth serious.

As info after 5th fault attempt the garage found out; it was valve blocked in the turbo circuit.
