Wrong on both counts.

Too involved making sure daughter number 2 got married on Friday 16th; spending 2 days in bed recuperating from cooking 144 chickens; and suffering from 2 severe bites frae 2 English blood suckers that will cause an emergency visit tae the GP ra moro. The wee beasties bit ma varicose veins and it looks like its gone tae infection oan wan. So much fur wearing a kilt at the wrang time o the day!

The machine is fine.

You'll be lucky. She'll likely go to uni - many are 4 year courses now - then (of course) a year travelling - then maybe 2 or 3 years to qualify depending on what career she chooses. Keep on working and saving.

And then there's help with the house purchase :o , and then the car insurance, and road tax, and "extraordinary" expenses such as food :eat: , hairdos :afro: , petrol :driving:

But, my God, they are absolutely worth it!! :yahoo:

This was the younger one - 28 yrs old. Did a costing a few years ago (5) over the 4 kids and cut off the mobile phones; stopped the petrol etc. Even then they still get you.

Tried moving house and they found me.

Next trick will be to put up the rent for them staying at grandfaithers hoose. (2 sons).
