Headlight Problem

Hi Folks,

new to the TOC and really hope someone can help.

Have had my Yaris D4D for three years and been the best little car I've ever driven (That includes the Caddy in the US..).

However, recently noticed the near-side headlight wouldn't light up on low beam although high beam was fine.

Checked the drivers manual and found out there are different fuses for each setting so checked these out and both are OK.

The bulb is fine (took me an hour to change it - just in case.. :crybaby: ).

Anyone offer any advice?

Cheers guys

Steve

Are you sure the bulb is fine, as many models have a twin fillament bulb. Just because one beam is working, it doesn't mean the other is! This, apart from fuses, is the most common fault.

Hi Gar,

Thanks for the response!

Yep, you're spot on - the replacement bulb was duff too!

Have replaced the replacement.. .. and all is at peace in my Yaris world again.

Many thanks

Steve
