Any "decent brand" that meets the specs will be OK.

The choice of synthetic or semi synthetic is really down to what price you are prepared to pay, but semi synthetic should be slightly cheaper and will do the job

I heard a rumour that Toyota oil is Castrol Magnatec, re-packaged. Not positive, though!
