Rav4 Sat Nav

hi all

i've bought a rav4 2001 2.0 gx. i wondered if it has got sat nav?

the radio/cd has got the trip/nav button, but how do i check?

where would i look for the antenna and gps unit?

secondly if it is not already installed is it worth getting or would i be better served just buying a tom tom.

All the Head Units have the Sat-Nav controls ready for the option, but the actual Sat-Nav box if fitted is located either under the passenger seat or possibly in the boot - it is a box about the size of a Freeview tuner box.

Is it worth while? Personally, I say not as the screen is very small, monochrome and map updates are not cheap. Best source to buy tends to be eBay, but the actual connecting cables needed are quite rare and not usually not bundled in.

A portable Sat-Nav will be better and cheaper.
