Came accross this on eBay, a Compressor being broken:

Dont look like much made it out the fire, shame.

Wonder what started the fire?

Not a bad price for a set of new wheels though one will need conditioning which shouldn't cost more than say £70.

wouldnt touch that wheel mate - you wont know how hot its been. overpriced for secondhand wheels - not even nice wheels at that. i think TTE got a discount of Merc for them

I wouldn't say that. ;) I spotted it couple of weeks back and had the engine, gearbox etc. Getting it fitted into my 2003 Mr2 Roadster with an APEXI Power FC (as they didnt have the stock ECU) :P

The 1zz engine seized on my mr2 anyway and was contemplating a regular 2zz swap then I saw this! Doesn't look like its been done in an mr2. Would be interested to see what sort of difference a Power FC makes to the power/torque... I've searched but have not seen anyone put one on a compressor

Yeah, I'm hoping it'll be quick! Looks like chassis modifications will need to be made, possibly even loosing the storage area behind the seats, to make room for the supercharger. I'm leaving it in the hands of the professionals. Will definitely keep you all posted! :D

By the way.. if any of you guys were looking for a 2zzge Power FC, on sat I ordered one from Japan from 'JPS Trading' on eBay. Got it yesterday(!!!) and for £473 including postage (with insurance!) .. Amazing value and !Removed! quick!

That Roadster WILL be absolutely fantastic.. having just had mine turbo'd I just know that your conversion is going to be more fun than you can shake a stick at (where did that phrase come from anyway? )
