New Tyres

Has anyone had BARUM BAR BRILLANTIS 75T tyres fitted. I am tempted at £35 per tyre but perhaps it is a false economy.

Personally I haven't used them.. but I've sold a few. I can't recall ever having any complaints about them either.

I would also point out that Barum is a budget brand from Continental.. so the quality shouldn't be too bad for the price.

i alway use toyo / yokohama / Bridgestone dont like to go on budget tyres as they are my safety!

Hi I have just fitted Michelin Energys to my Aygo done about 250 miles so far, the pressure is set at 2.5 Bar a little high some may say but the roling resistance compaird to the old Continentals is very much less , so a little bumpy mabe but very good MPG I expect as I was getting 55.5 MPG on a good day on the old tyres and I am gettig less road noise, also it goes round corners better .

I always fit Michelins out of personal preference - however my 107 came with Contis.

Not bad, but VERY NOISY !

Michelins will be replacing them eventually.

In theory, better MPG and better wet weather grip, although they'll cost you more in the beginning.
