As your ISP's say the download speed is UP TO 8meg. and will depend on how far you are from the Telephone Exchange and just as important is how many extns. in your house. Each extn. socket along with the wiring can knock 0.5meg off your speed. There are so many other factors governing the download speed of Broadband.
