i drive a toyota trueno bz-r 20valve 1997 i got velocity stacks fitted to the throttle bodys and the car was running fine after a while it started loosing power. I checked the oil level and found that it had ran pretty low (not registering on dip stick) i had the big end bearings checked out for damage and they were ok also had the cam shafts and cam shaft carriers checked damage and everything seems ok is it possible that the cam shaft de-fazer has been damaged or has anyone experienced this problem before.

Hi Lee,

Not sure I can help with your problem but I would like to run my Levin on the throttle bodies using "tumpets" (velocity stacks)

How did you do it and where does the sensor - which currently sits on the back of the airbox - go?

Thanks a lot!

Kai

is your levin a AE111 or AE101?

what about your oxygen sensor, have you checked that?

just out of interest, how did you check the big end bearing?
