Was told by my friendly local dealer that although the Aygo, C1 and 107 are all built in the same factory, toyota take off every 10th car and check it over, any problems are recified on that and the last ten cars. Makes better quality/reliability etc. But just wondering if its actually true. Saw a debate about floor pans too. Just wondering how different they are.

I prefer the shape of the aygo, and the fact its got a toyota Badge rather than a pug or ciitroen, especially if i decide to keep it after the 3 years runs out. The others where never in the running!

Anyone else heard this? C

Yeah I heard the same talk from my dealer, again I have no idea if its true but I'd like to think it was for the extra cost of the car, etc. I went ahead and bought the car, and to be fair have loved every minute in it so far. Had the 107 before and just the whole package; car, after sales service, etc is much better. I'd really reccomend one

It's the same for most manufacturers, it's common for us to have a new Nissan arrive with 50 miles or so on the clock from the factory where they have tested absolutely everything. with the market being so competitive at the mo it is more important than ever to ensure customer satisfacion with the product.

It will go further than checking the tenth car or so as the same processes will take place for the components as well :)

Re-assuring isn't it :)
