Changing Oe Wipers For Modern ?

Howdy - i was wanting to upgrade my wiper arms to a set that uses the simple " hook " at the end. This would mean i could buy a set of the new fangled flat beam wipers, which i had on my previous vehicle, and i loved em.

Any ideas how i would go about it ?

I would obviously need to measure the entire length from mounting spline to tip of the arm, to make i dont end up with either a set to short or set too long. But other than that, i'd be buying blind, as i wouldnt know how to go about finding the right compatability with the splines.

Do Toyota use a generic spline size ? This would make things very easy as i could use a set from another model that were a similar length
