Oh - and looking at the towbar info (tentative link of info!), it seems that the 4x4 RAVs have 235/60 R16 tyres and the 4x2 RAVs have 216/70 R16 Tyres, which would tie in with the BHs Luna

Thanks Hoovie, I checked the sites and all seems ok. I bet you're right that it's whether the Rav was 4wd or 2wd that determines tyre size. I bet they used the same rims, though.

Boring person that I am , I read an old (Feb 2003) copy of 4x4 Mag last night and they had a RAV4 v CRV v Ford Maverick test. Anyway, the RAV4 was a 2002 GX 4WD and according to their spec list, had 215/70R16 tyres - which surprises me, and the Wheels were 6.5" wide.
