Gen 7 Best Suited Tyres

When i bought the car, it already had aftermarket alloys on it, and after getting my car serviced the other day i noticed the back left tyre was punctured with some v shaped metal. The person that bought the aftermarket tyres kindly put another puntured tyre in the back so i dunno what to do. The tyre i had first still has the metal inside and its in the tread not on the side of the tyre so can i get it fixed at a reasonable price or is a new tyre the right way forward.

Also what are the best tyres suited for the gen 7?

There are loads of threads on here about this, so have a search through.

I say get the best you can afford at the time and then drive accordingly.

Generally though, the main runners people seem to prefer are Toyo's, Parelli & a couple of others.

Toyo proxes t1r if you like the straight line grip. but they definately suffer on hard cornering, they just roll onto the sidewalls. im on t1rs 205/45/17

but def gona change, maybe back to Pirelli pzero neros. i think they have more road noise but will be sharper. gona also change to 215/40/17 profile. will let you know v soon!
