hi all,im hoping i came to the right place and youll be able to help me with something thats probably going to sound totaly dumb lol.

i brought a toyota celica recently

on the log book it says 1993,

on all other docs,like service papers,mots etc it says car year 1994

its a 2000cc and on some of the documents there is reference to the numbers: ST202 and AT200 E

i have been reading and managed to completely confuse myself lol,is it a GT? what mark is it?

what year is it even ?

any help would be great.

it looks more like 1994 that 1993 but hey who knows lol

ST202 = a GEN 6

GTi not therefore not a GT4.

The AT200 chassis code is for the 1.8 ST I believe. Yours is the 2L GT if a UK car, as said it is an ST202. 1993 was the earliest 6th generation Celica so the year might be correct. I'd trust the log book more than anything else. Service docs are usually the mechanics guess.

Nasty little bit of damage there although from what I can see, those standard wheels look like there are in great condition.

With no bonnet spoiler and headlight washer it means its a Jap import, could be an SS1/2 , wont be an SS3 as they didn't arrive till 95 .

As has been said , show us a picture of the engine and we will be able to tell, if it looks like the engine in adams sig above then its an SS2 ,which you want as it has the better engine :D
