Hi everyone.

I will shortly be replacing the front discs and pads on my 2002 Corolla.Does anybody know the correct torque settings for the front brake caliper bracket bolts? I am referring to the bolts securing the caliper bracket to the wheel hub. Many thanks.

these are the settings for the T Sport - other models may differ.

Thanks very much for the information. I would think that unless the discs fitted to the T Sport are larger than the standard discs (i.e. 255.0 mm Diameter ) then the torque settings would be the same. Do you know the diameter of your discs? (I do not need the rear brake settings thanks).

The T Sports are 275mm. Have a look on the Toyota Tech site - might be on there?

Sorry for not replying - haven't checked the posts for a few days ! I wasn't sure how to get on to the Toyota Tech site so I am still not sure of the settings. I know that people don't always use them but I am a bit of a worry-wort when it comes to brakes since they will most likely keep you out of trouble when it matters!

I have found a site where you can download a workshop manual for about £10 but am not sure if it's genuine. What do you think?
