Cleaning The K&n

hi guys,

i know this has been mentioned before and apologies for bringing it up again but i cant find the thread

how do you clean the the K&N filter heads? do just soak it in washing up liquid and leet it dry?

or do you use sum sort of oil??

mines filthy!

With my panel filter, you lightly brush off any surface dirt, then use a filter cleaning spray, rinse with water, leave to dry naturally and then re-oil.

You can buy a K&N 'recharger' kit from places like Halfords, and that comes with the right oil and cleaner if I remember rightly. :thumbsup:

I think it was about £20, but I'm going back a couple of years now like.

It's dead easy to do (as you'd expect!), but it takes an eon to dry fully just so you don't get caught short on time like I did! :D
