right then, the time has come to start making my aygo my own, rather than just the norm out of the factory job!

i was just wondering what you'd reccomend. i was thinking about getting the TTE springs but theyre quite expensive for what they are... or do i risk it and get some other ones?

i know that changing the springs without changing the shocks can normal cause the shocks to break... does anyone know if changing to the TTE springs will affect my warrenty on this part or should i just risk it for the sake of a couple of quid??

With TTE being owned by Toyota, you normally get to keep your warranty and the springs will be TUV approved.

TTE springs will be fine for the shocks, its only if you get 30+mm lower ones were the shocks start to get bouncy and wear out!

Yes, in theory stiffer springs will wear your shocks out sooner, but I have the TTE springs fitted and there doesn't seem to be any excessive wobble which would be an indication of under-damping.

I think the shorter springs have worked out better on the Aygo than they did on my old Corolla, which had softer dampers.
