Speaking as an Englishman abroad, the only petition that might work is the one where you put an X in the box....... (doesn't work here, though, thanks to Proportional Representation!)

Fuel in Ireland now €1.29 a litre and rising :angry:

diesel down my way here in cork is €1.37 thank god the 1.4d-4-d is a miser on juice easily

getting 800km between fills

Didn't the last one have about 3 million people sign it and the gov basically said f**k off?

Did you know that 80% of what you pay at the pump is tax? Also did you know that only a fraction of this money will go back into the road network.So at the end of the day if you own a car or have a mortgage the Govenment have you by the short and curlies !! So what do you suggest we do,have a National Stike?? Remember the Govenment policy,rob the poor to feed the rich.I could go on all day on this issue but what the hell can we do about it?? Any more suggestions?
