3s-fe To 3s-ge

I bought my 89 celica gt around 2 years ago and love it. The only problem is it has high mileage, or atleast a little to high mileage for me. My question is, would it be easier trying to find another 3S-FE engine with lower miles to replace it, or would it be easier getting a 3S-GE and get lower miles + the added performance. I've looked at the 3S-GTE, and to be honest it doesn't look like I'd have the money to do that swap, and do not really know where I'd even begin on it. All I'm looking for is a less used engine so I can keep my car rolling, and an engine that can keep up for the occasional drop and go : D

Where should I go to look for these engines, and if the 3S-GE ends up becoming the better choice of the two what all needs to be exchanged, and where can I find them?

Thanks!

3S-GE would be a good swap but you will need the loom and ECU as well as the engine. eBay or breakers is best bet for an engine but try and hear it running first, you'd be surprised at the amount of 60,000 miles motors in the breakers :P

a good place to go is TCB in Cornwall, he does mail order and will only send out good stuff. if you do a google search you can find his number.

swap should be straight forward enough, although the 3S-GTE would be the same bar the extra cost of the parts and you also need an MR2 turbo gearbox and driveshafts.
