well finally getting somewhere now blocks back, gapped and fitted the rings and installed the new rods so wont be long now.

the new rods do look a tad beefier than the standard ones :P

well kinda ground to a halt, came to replace the two valves that had an argument with the now detached piston to find two broken guides. decided to replace the 8 inlet ones as there is a little oil in the intake, it hasnt come from the turbo as the IC pipe work is dry so only place is guides or seals.

gonna be busy next week but hope to get back on it the week after.
