Hi all, just sprayed my callipers, thought you might like to take a look.

This pic is after i've wire brushed the calliper (wire brush set about £5 off flea bay)

and scrubed down with a brillo pad, then gone over with a good de-greaser to get rid of all brake fluid

residue.

This one is when i put the primer on, i used wurth acid etch primer to create a mechanical bond between

the bare metal and primer. Don't forget to sand the primer when fully dry to create a bond with the paint.

Now, these two are after i've applied a flash coat to ensure there's no reaction between paint and primer.

With no reaction we can go for full coverage, three full coats with waiting time of 5mins between each coat.

I'm now leaving these 3 weeks for the paint to fully cure before re-fitting. And there's no need to use heat

resistant paint unless you drive like lewis hamilton! :thumbsup:
