Hi All, I am new to this site so i do apologise if this is the wrong place to post this topic.

I have just bought a mushroom filter for my bzr (4age blacktop) and was wondering how I go about fitting it. Ie what else do i need. I see there is a little sensor thing in the current air box which i assume needs to stay in the system somehow..

Could someone please explain to me what i would need and where i need to put it in order to attach my mushroom filter.

Thanks so much for your help!!

i presume you have a black top? if so then the sensor in the air box is a temperature sensor, it doesn't have to be plumbed into the pipe behind the filter (tho it is adivsed) it really needs to stay near the filter to tell the ECU the temperature of the air it is sucking in. remove the current airbox completelyand plug the mushroom on the end in place.
