Central Locking Key Problem

Hi all, I'm having problems with my key. The lock button has stopped working, but i don't think it's a Battery prob because it will unlock the car with the unlock button, and the little light flashes. It just won't lock again!! As a result i can't set the alarm too.

Has anyone else had any similar problems with their keys too? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

You can unlock the car using the key in the door and the alarm doesn't go off? Usually if you unlock this way the alarm will go off. Sounds like the central locking/alarm needs looking at.

I'm still unlocking the car using key fob, i just can't lock it again! The alarm light isn't flashing when i lock it by the door. I've called the garage i got car from, as i've only had it 3 months so it's still under warranty! Just waiting to hear back from them!!
