Urgent Help Needed Please

Can somebody please give me some help.

I have a Gen 5 ST182 Celica which until recently has been totally reliable. However, it has now developed a fault. From cold it starts ok but after it has been running a while (now either idling or under load) the engine is cutting out and the engine check warning light is coming on. It doesn't cough or splutter first just dies. I have checked the obd and code 14 is being trapped. After a few minutes the car will restart but then again after another few minutes will cut out again. The problem seems to be getting worse, i.e. it is happening more and more and sooner after starting.

I have replaced the igniter, coil and ignition leads - none of which has made any difference - other than to my bank balance. The manual also suggest that the ECU could be at fault but as the problem seems in some way temperature related I'm not so sure how that could be the cause.

Given the OBD code, warning light and sudden failure I'm not thinking that it is a fuel problem.

The car is now off the road until I fix the problem but I don't know what else to look at.

Can somebody help me please?
