Insurance On A 2004 Corolla T Sport

Trying To Get Quotes, Main thing at 19 i can get insured i have got quotes but they have been very high, on the current corolla i am under my sister she is 20....1 claim in her name and 3 penalty points, i have 3 points for defective tyres but no claims.

Have managed to get quotes for around £2200 annualy under my dad. Who has over 15 years driving experience and full no claims however cant use his NCB on another policy as he is using it on another car. Any chance of some good smaller companies that will give a cheaper quote. I got a quote from bell admiral on a 328 BMW M Sport the other day under my dad for 1600 which was quite cheap on a 2.8 under my dad ....the t sport is coming up a bit more with the same website. Considering it is 2 insurance groups lower.

Any one know how to get the quotes to about 1800....lol thats the most il be willing to pay for insurance. Any sites you lot may know.

Would be really helpful!

i'm with toyota insurance paying bout £700 on a t sport compressor an i'm 24. i've used elephant in the past bein quite good plus you can take an option for 10 month bonus accelerator means you get 1 years no claims in 10 months an most time works out bout £100 cheaper than bein with them for 12 months. think tesco insurance is quite cheap as well

I just renewed mine for £626. I am 23 with 5 years no claims. Use Tesco Car Compare website as I found that to be the cheapest search engine for me for car insurance.

Also if you use cashback websites such as quidco, you can get money back from buying online. I got my quote from Priledge and they offer £70 cashback so my policy actualy costs £550 or £470 without protected no claims bonuses.

Go compare also have the same results for me as Tesco Car Compare.

Direct Line

£904 for Me & The misses

SHe's 24 with 3 years NCB and I'm 22 with 2Years NCB.

You also have to consider that different post codes are different insurance groups. Are you in a rough / well known car theft area?

If I were living at my GF mums in Southampton it drops by £200!

well it was either a van or a 1.0 litre corsa micra or starlet

  • 2 weeks later...

I'm with E-sure, paying around 510 quid fully comp, based in London, 26 years old, 6 years no claims, no points or accidents in the past five years.

I'd be really, really careful with Elephant if I were you, they are very hesistant to lower your premium as your no claims build up.

Best bet, check places like moneysupermarket.com and gocompare.com to search out the best deals.

My mate work for admiral and he says you can lower the price by doing the following:

Put the car in your name with a 2nd driver with a good record, and Its also cheaper if you say the car is kept on the driveway rather than the garage.

I havent got a cts yet byt am buying in 2weeks i 1st got quoted £1800 and im 22 with 3 points no ncb due to claiming a accident i then did the above and it dropped to £970!!

Hope it works for you, vut your age is most probably the reason its high dude!!!
