Oil Change

hi

Ive bought a T-spirit three moths ago from a dealer. While getting the car they serviced and gave me. Yesterday while driving suddenly I got "OIL CHANGE" indication. Would this be a false indication? even after I tried switching OFF/ON engine still this indicator comes. I thought they might have changed oils while servicing? is this usual to get in three months time?. And also, how long can I drive the car like this, before I change the oil and oil filter?

Any suggestions please.

Hi,

The oil change light has to be reset at each service. Its possible that they've forgotton to reset the light(or not serviced it!!).

If you look in your instruction manual it says how to do it. Forgot myself, sorry only read my instruction when i had the car in 2006. Or take to dealer of course.

Hope this helps a bit.

Hi Thanks for the info.

Can I be able to do it myself? Do I need any special tools to access this switch.
