Steering Wheel Control Interface (aftermarket Radios)

Hi all,

After my trials and tribulations with the carPC, I have a schematic for a control interface that will work with any pioneer (could possibly do alpine and clarion too) radio.

so basiclaly you can ditch the oem one, install an aftermarket headunit and then keep the steering controls.

I personally don't need one as i have a carputer, but if there is enough interest, I might get work to run us a few PCB's off.

any takers?

Sanj

it comes in 2 pieces.

the main convertor that plugs in to one of the toyota plugs... and then you buy the relevant cable for your head unit to plug in to the convertor.

cost me a total of £30 for both parts.

think i quoted the part number in a previous thread about stalk controls.

I've been looking for an alpine one with no success. If you could make one that would be sweet!!

ah yes it is only compatible with facelift CTS... the pre-facelist has a different cabling system.
